Ultrasonographic peculiarities of regenerate bone structural condition in case of high osteogenic activity in patients with height cosmetic correction

Longitudinally oriented hyper-echogenous structures with echo-density of 50 arbitrary units and more, noted in the zone of regenetare bone from the early period of distraction, are revealed to show osteogenesis activity of high level. The necessity of additional controlling the condition of such a regenerate bone is caused by the risk of premature union between the proximal and distal fragments. As a rule, the cortical layer is formed much more rapidly and the period of fixation is reduced in such patients. Properly selected rate of distraction prevents premature consolidation of "growth zone". It should be mentioned that osteogenesis of high level is one of the variants of the regenerate bone formation in patients with "subjectively small" height.
