Ultrasonic method of quality control of the cutting plates from supersolid materials

The ultrasonic control method which establishes interrelation between the cutting properties of tool plates from supersolid materials and the frequency of their own fluctuations is developed. Experimental checking the dependence of plates resistance on their acoustic properties when turning heat resisting nickel alloys is executed. The methodical and hardware base for implementation of ultrasonic control method and determination of resonant frequency of fluctuations of the cutting plates is presented.
