"Smart" city as a factor of social and economic development areas

The article is devoted to the modern approach to municipal management called "smart" city. The paper deals with foreign projects and specifications, which must have a city to obtain "smart" status. The authors justified the need to promote projects and causes humanitarian impossibility of mass distribution postulates in Russia.
