Silver age university “Dubna” - implementation of the social mission of education

As part of the concept of developing project activities at the University of Dubna, a new educational project for the elderly “University of the Silver Age Dubna” is presented as an innovative form that ensures the availability of educational resources for the elderly and implements the concept of life-long learning. The structure of the educational program corresponds to the idea of classical university education and represents its micro-model based on the principles of universality and andragogy. The implementation of the project will expand the opportunities for resocialization of older people in a changing society, increase the level of effective use of information environment resources, and improve legal and financial literacy as factors for improving the quality of life and minimizing social risks.
