Management document in the history of the Russian state library

The article highlights the historical development of management documentation of the Russian State Library. Noting the significant increase in the number of management documents compared to the pre-revolutionary period, the author points out the need for a more thorough study of this type of library document, without which the library as a system cannot exist.
