Safety management of hydrotechnical facilities in Russia

Interpretation of the Russian Federation "Safety of Hydraulic Structures" and the hydraulic structure safety monitoring and safety reporting system established under this law. Since the implementation of this law, safety management and supervision of hydraulic structures has been strengthened. The level of building safety has been greatly enhanced through maintenance and strengthening, as well as scientific and technical support, but due to lack of funds, neither of these two tasks has been completed as planned. The Russian Federation is currently intensifying the development of a "Financial Support to the Safety of Hydraulic Structures", which is an effective means of encouraging owners to invest in hydraulic structure safety measures.
