The article deals with basic problems of management of human potential in organizations of agricultural complex in the region, taking into account the social and psychological factors of personality development in a crisis situation. The role of development of agriculture in development of economy of Republic Buryatia is defined. The basic directions of effective development and use of human potential of agriculture are developed.
