Management of election commission activity: organizational issues (on the example of the election commission of the Orenburg region)

People's democracy which in the Soviet period was one of the formal institutions of state, nowadays has turned into the real constitutional basis of Russian statehood, the mechanism for its reformation and further development is an essential condition for the successful formation and development of democratic legal state in Russia. The general direction of the country's movement for the foreseeable period largely depends on the decision of voters, who determine by means of elections the specific composition of representative bodies of state power and local self-government, as well as party affiliation and related to it further political course of elected bodies at federal, regional and local levels. The article defines the state, problems and the main directions of improvement of the organization and evaluates the effectiveness of the electoral commission. Orenburg region.
