Urban environment management using information modeling technologies

The article deals with information modeling technologies that allow creating a digital model of the urban environment. The principles of functional zoning are studied on the basis of which the town-planning structure of the city is being developed. The Civil 3D program is considered with the help of which it is possible to refine the terrain, as well as metro objects, which allows for a high degree of efficiency in building a model of the object under study. Analyzed innovative digital models created in Civil 3D. The influence of information modeling technologies on the level of economic development is considered. The application of information modeling technologies using BIM technologies is analyzed, which open up new opportunities for the creation and development of a “smart city” system and will be in harmony with the ecosystem. The use of projects created using BIM technologies that take into account the specifics of the environment and ensure the efficient functioning of urban infrastructures, which in turn leads to an improvement in the quality of life of citizens and contributes to the sustainable development of the economy, has been studied.
