Currently, Russian organizations face an acute need for innovative products and implementation of management innovations. The article carries out a theoretical analysis of the social management of the most progressive international companies. Also, the brief history of the social management development in the context of its impact on the innovative activity of companies is reviewed. The author emphasizes the possibility of applying the sociology of management to improve the efficiency of innovation introduction in modern Russian organizations with due regard to technical and technological solutions of the innovation management.
