Personnel policy is designed to ensure the socio-economic interests of society in the framework of the regional development strategy. One of the most important tasks is the development and validation of new conceptual approaches, mechanisms and tools for effective management of human resources at the regional level. In this connection, it is obvious that the development and implementation of regional HR policies, the definition of its priorities and benchmarks is a natural need of the modern stage of economic development of the country. This article considers the current state and problems of personnel policy in the agroindustrial complex of the region. Directions for efficient use of labor potential, the application of the state program for personnel policy, strengthening the process of selection, training and placement of personnel on the enterprises of agroindustrial complex and contributes to the security of its employees, which in turn has a huge impact on the profitability and unprofitability of enterprises.
