Corporation culture management at the junction of X and Y generations

The article contains the distinctive features of the traditional concept of corporate culture and culture of the “generation Y». The distinctive features of the company ’ s culture management, where the majority of employees belong to the generation X or to the generation Y, are given in particular on the basis of McGregor ’ s theory: Generations X, Y, Z. The functional differences in motivational programs for corporate cultures of modern organizations are given. The relevance of the topic is justified by the established trend of constant work with the team and management of corporate culture - one of the innovative personnel decisions of progressive managers of large corporations. The problem of understanding this aspect in domestic management is proposed to be solved by highlighting distinctive and effective features of different generationsʼ corporate culture. Some recommendations are formulated with a narrower focus on the application of incentive and motivation system for staff, depending on the generation and changing priorities, with the aim of increasing loyalty and improving corporate culture.
