Waste management and the organization of their transportation (on the example of the industrial pharmaceutical cluster of st. Petersburg)

Waste management is an important and relevant area of the industrial complex, because this industry is specific. The object of research is the pharmaceutical cluster of St. Petersburg. The article reflects the main aspects of the strategic development of the pharmaceutical industry in terms of production growth, features of business processes, as well as in the environmental direction: in resource use and its efficiency, as well as in the direction of treatment of specialized types of medical waste. The authors consider the features of reverse logistics as a science, as well as the principles of logistics and features of medical waste management: in terms of algorithmizing of waste management processes, as well as the preparation of directions for assessing the effectiveness of logistics activities in the field of management.
