Project risk management within the SCRUM methodology

Бесплатный доступ

The features of risk management within the framework of the agile methodology Scrum are shown; the “fail fast” strategy is analyzed, its application for timely identification and risk reduction is evaluated; the role of transparency of artifacts of the “necessary part of the Scrum methodology” in risk reduction is evaluated. The tasks, roles, responsibilities of the Scrum team members in the field of risk management are investigated; procedures and tools for managing the risks of a Scrum project, including a risk register, are presented; possible strategies for responding to risks are considered. Scrum project risk management is divided into primary and current. Additional sources of Scrum project risks were identified, such as excessively deep marketing analysis, which delays the creation and launch of a minimal viable product. A classification of risks has been developed. Four starting points in Scrum project risk management were identified: sprint planning, sprint execution, sprint review, and sprint retrospective analysis.
