Risk management of foreign economic activity of an agricultural enterprise

The article substantiates approaches to risk management of foreign economic activity of an agricultural enterprise. It is established that the evaluation of the effectiveness of a foreign trade agreement can and should be carried out after the execution of each contract to identify risks that were not taken into account when it was concluded during the negotiation process with a foreign partner. It is proved that when developing and constructing a model of behavior of an agricultural enterprise in risky situations on the foreign market, it is necessary to use mathematical tools. Considering that the essence of risk in management is the probability of deviation from the achievement of the set goals, the use of economic and mathematical models is justified. It is determined that the scientific development of the rules of economic and social behavior of the agricultural enterprise management system in risky market conditions, the justification of the optimal management strategy that allows to eliminate the negative consequences of external and internal factors of functioning, are of particular importance. It was found out that ignoring the issues of timely determination of the degree of acceptable risk can lead to bankruptcy of an agricultural enterprise or other less complex negative phenomena. In addition, the existing theories of risk definition, measurement and management do not provide exhaustive recommendations for the implementation of rational activities and the functioning of management systems in risky conditions.
