Enterprise inventory management using BCG analysis of Kedr LLC products Tulun, Irkutsk region

The article discusses the main issues related to inventory management using BCG analysis, namely, an analysis of the availability and use of inventories over time in a commercial enterprise in the Irkutsk region, which made it possible to identify the main difficulties in inventory management, namely a significant decrease in inventories, for some items by more than by fifty percent and an increase in accounts receivable. At the same time, inventories are used efficiently as the turnover period is reduced. The solvency indicators of the enterprise in 2022 are sharply declining and are significantly below the optimal value. It was revealed that some of the goods are sold with deferred payment, which negatively affects the financial condition of the enterprise. Effective management of enterprise inventories allows you to reduce the duration of the production and entire operating cycle. Using BCG analysis and considering the matrix of BCG products, recommendations were made to improve inventory management, namely, expanding product sales channels, entering other regions using marketplaces, since the company produces unique products that are in demand in other regions of Russia located to the west , an increase in the enterprise’s inventory, due to the increasing need for them.
