This article explores methods for optimizing costs throughout the lifecycle of engineering products using cutting-edge technologies, including blockchain. The author analyzes the theoretical foundations of reducing the product lifecycle in engineering, approaches to lifecycle cost assessment, as well as optimization challenges and opportunities. Special attention is given to the development of a product identification and tracking system, integration with cloud technologies, and the utilization of distributed ledgers for data processing.
