Simplified proceedings in civil and arbitration proceedings: unification of two procedural laws

In this article, the author conducted a comparative analysis of the legal regulation of the simplified production of two procedural codes: the Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation and the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. As a result of a scientific study, the author noted a tendency to unify the two procedural codes with the differentiation of certain elements characteristic of the civil code in view of its substantive features, as well as the status of participants whose activities are not related to entrepreneurial activity. The author identified and voiced examples of both negative and positive manifestations of the considered directions of the institute's development. The influence of the unification of simplified proceedings in the civil and arbitration procedural legislation is indisputable, which promotes the convergence of the two branches of procedural law and makes the institution under consideration interdisciplinary.
