Level of informatization of the population as contradictive digitization of the country

This article is devoted to the current topic of today - the digitalization of Russia. The article covers the topic of opportunities and obstacles to the development of the digital economy in the country. The paper analyzes and describes the factors influencing the level of informatization of the population depending on the place of residence: the rhythm of life, the presence of industrial enterprises, the development of information infrastructure, etc. Based on this, a conclusion was made on the level of informatization of residents of megacities and regions and the prospects for the development of the digital economy in the country.
