The level of agriculture marketability of Russia’s European North in the 1920s

The author makes an attempt to examine the level of efficiency of the key branches of agricultural industry of Russia’s European North in the 1920s. The article analyzes the trade turnover pattern of agricultural products produced at the peasant farm in the1920s in the context of the agricultural market development. The conclusion is made with regard to the level of the marketability of the agricultural sector of the region’s economy. The article demonstrates the interrelation of production parameters of the peasant economy and its market relations under NEP economy.
