In the modern world, every state declares raising the standard of living of its population as one of the main tasks. In Kazakhstan, the solution to this problem is provided for in the Strategy «Kazakhstan 2050». The measures provided for in this strategy will not only increase the GDP / GNP of the republic, but also improve the standard of living as the main component of the quality of life and, accordingly, the quality of nutrition of the inhabitants of the republic. The researchers noted that everyone who deals with this problem faces a number of difficulties. One of the most important is the lack of a single evaluation algorithm, a system of indicators and indicators for representing the current quality of life. The systems of indicators and indicators proposed by specialists and used are aimed at certain goals. In addition, even the most reliable systems of indicators and indicators become obsolete over time. However, researchers agree that quality of life is a socio-economic category. It is the result of the aggregated impact of the nth number of factors. Each of these factors has a different effect on certain subsystems (economic, environmental, social). When studying the quality of life of the population in a particular country, researchers also have in mind the achieved level of consumption of tangible and intangible goods, which is directly related to the current standard of living. The latter is often limited to the sphere of consumption and also means income-material opportunities. In this regard, when conducting research, the authors considered the relationship between the income and property opportunities of an individual and the quantity and quality of goods consumed by him, in particular, the main types of food.
