Strengthening and aggravation of other criminal law measures

Introduction: the article explores the concepts and types of strengthening and aggravation of other criminal law measures. Materials and Methods: logical, system and structural, statistical methods were used in the work. The research is based on the norms of criminal legislation of the Russian Federation (Articles 73, 74, 79, 82, 82/1, 81, 90, 92, 98, 104.2 the Criminal Code of Russian Federation) and foreign countries, the provisions of the resolutions of the Plenum of the Supreme Court, scientific literature. Results: the article proposes the author's systematization of other criminal law measures taking into account the latest changes in criminal and correctional legislation of the Russian Federation. The concept of strengthening and aggravation of other criminal law measures is defined. On the basis of the analysis of the considered norms, two groups of other criminal law measures are identified: 1) measures in respect of which strengthening and aggravation are possible; 2) measures in respect of which strengthening or aggravation is not applied...
