Conditions for forming a positive image of Russia in the media environment of the countries of the former Yugoslavia

The article presents the results of comprehension and interpretation of the data of an empirical analysis of information flows about Russia in the media of the countries of the former Yugoslavia in the period from 2014 to 2023, a database of a cross-national survey of citizens of Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia about their perception of Russia and Russian foreign policy, and also event analysis of the history of sociocultural interaction between the Russian state and the countries of the former Yugoslavia. The result of summarizing all the data obtained is a system of conditions (prerequisites) for the formation of a positive image of Russia in the national media segments of Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia.
