The article examines the problem of formation of market income from various types of economic activity. Traditionally, the conditions of inter-industry exchange are associated with the concept of price parity, which shows the ratio of the dynamics of prices for industry products and prices for purchased resources. The disadvantage of this approach is the absence of a mechanism for the transition from price dynamics to income dynamics. The concept of conditions for the formation of market income introduced by the author allows solving this problem. A change in the prevailing conditions for the formation of market incomes, or the conditions for intersectoral exchange, leads to an intersectoral overflow of income, which leads to a change in the profitability of industries. A technique is given that allows, according to the data of the system of national accounts, to determine the conditions for the formation of market incomes and the intersectoral overflow of gross value added associated with their change. It is demonstrated in detail on the basis of data for 1991-1998, when the price system established in the Soviet era was destroyed and a new system was established as a result of their liberalization. It is noted that the new price system that has developed after the transition to a market economy is not fixed. Constantly there are new changes in prices that affect the profitability of various types of economic activity. The dynamics of the conditions for the formation of market incomes and losses of Russian agriculture due to their deterioration in 1991-2020 is analyzed. The calculations were made relative to the Soviet period (1990), as well as the beginning of the priority national project "Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex" and the beginning of the last state program for the development of agriculture for 2013-2020.
