Conditions of physical culture and sport development among young people (on the example of Vologda city)

The article presents the results of the study of Vologda's provision with sports facilities and the degree of young people's involvement in physical education and sports, prepared on the basis of statistical and departmental data, a sociological survey of the population. The level of physical activity among young people in Vologda, frequency of physical culture and sport activities, the reasons for low physical activity, needs of Vologda youth in athletic facilities and their evaluation of the level of the city's provision with physical culture and sports objects are analyzed.
