The article examines the key conditions for the development of industrial production in the far East. The author analyzes the main socio-economic indicators in the districts, on what basis it is concluded the place of the far Eastern Federal district in the General system of Russia. On the basis of the conducted research practical recommendations for the further development of the far Eastern coast of Russia to ensure its competitiveness and reaching new markets.
