Regional conditions of functioning and development of public-private partnership

Based on the analysis of historical aspects of the public-private partnership (PPP) emergence, the experience of several foreign countries and current PPP practice, the article reveals regional conditions of its development according to the objectives of the regional socio-economic policy. The advantages and disadvantages of the current PPP projects implementation in Russia are discussed. The author distinguishes three groups of regional conditions ensuring the PPP development as a form of state regulation of the economy and a mechanism of socio-economic regional policy implementation: socio-economic, political and legal, managerial.
