Conditions for the reproduction of the cultural capital of residents of municipalities (on the example of the city of Krasnokamsk)

The article describes the results of a sociological study of an exploratory nature, as well as its theoretical and methodological basis. The purpose of the study is to study the conditions for the reproduction of cultural capital of residents of the Krasnokamsk municipality. The author analyzed the key components of the formation of the cultural capital of residents, namely their inclusion in the cultural practices and institutions represented on the territory of the municipality, as well as satisfaction with them. A formalized survey in the online questionnaire format was used as a research method; The sample population was selected using the quota selection method and consisted of 101 people. When analyzing the data, methods of descriptive statistics, methods designed to compare means, correlation analysis, hierarchical cluster analysis, k-means clustering were used. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that, despite the existing conditions for the reproduction of cultural capital, the quality of the implemented practices and activities is not high enough: low level of involvement of the population in practices/events, low level of satisfaction with certain aspects of the work of cultural institutions. Suggestions were also made about the possible reasons for this result, and recommendations were proposed for improving the conditions for the reproduction of the cultural capital of residents of the municipality.
