Improving progressive cutting machines with experimental integrated design

Бесплатный доступ

This article discusses the detailed tasks of the integrated environment for the design of progressive dies. In order to maximize the effect of optimization and at the same time reduce the amount of design work, attention is focused on the conceptual design stage and on various methods for selecting the “most feasible” components (design implementation option). The purpose of this work is to develop various methods for creating parametric libraries of three-dimensional models based on elements and assess their rationality using the Solid Edge middle-level CAD package.
