Successful communication: aspects and problems (based on manipulative discourse)

The article is devoted to the study of the features that ensure successful communication. The author characterizes communication construction as a multi-stage process, dealing with a number of aspects that directly or indirectly affect the result planned by the utterer. We emphasize that accounting for these aspects and the hierarchy of addressing them depend on many factors including the characterological features of the target audience, the circumstances under which the events unfold, the value system in the community involved, etc. The author concludes that, to achieve the goal, an appeal to interdisciplinarity comprising the tools of philosophy, psychology, and cognitive linguistics is required.
