In this scientific article, the authors describe the experience of correction of partial anomalous pulmonary vein drainage (PADLV) in an adult patient. The types of surgery and long-term results in PADL in adults are analyzed based on a review of the literature. The relative rarity of clinical observations of PALV in patients older than 30 years is due to an isolated form of the defect without obstruction of the pulmonary veins and concomitant CHD. The experience of correcting PALV in adult patients is limited to single operations; according to the literature, the majority of adult patients with PALV come to the attention of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons after the age of 20 years. In this regard, the study of the clinical course and methods for diagnosing PALV in adult patients is relevant, which makes it possible to timely detect the defect, rationally plan the examination, and choose the optimal method of correction.
