The article is devoted to the development of the experimental setup to measure electro-optic properties of liquid crystals. Brief results of the experiments conducted in this installation are given, the principles of its operation are described. Experiments were performed to study the doping of nanoparticles at liquid-crystalline films. We found that the addition of metal nanoparticles of Ag, Cu, and Janus-like nanoparticles TaSi 2/Si, Ag/Si reduces response times of liquid crystals almost by half.
