Resistance of vegetable peas (Pisum sativum L.) to pests in the conditions of the southern wood steppe of Western Siberia

The yield of vegetable peas in the Omsk region is largely limited by the damage of plants by phytopha-ges. The main damage of plants is caused by the pests: pea aphid, weevil. Last year the injury of vegetable peas by the mining fly was increased. The aim of the research was to investigate the collection of assessments of vegetable peas and to determine the resistant ones to the pests in Western Siberia. The objects of research were 70 samples of vegetable peas from the collections of the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing (FNCS), Odintsovo, the Federal Research Center of the All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources. N.I. Vavilov (VIR), St. Petersburg, as well as obtained through cooperation with foreign breeding institutions. The experiments were performed in the forest-steppe zone of the Omsk Region in 2014-2017.
