Sustainability of small mammals communities in various natural zones of urban ecosystems

Бесплатный доступ

This article presents a data analysis on indicators of small mammals from different functional zones of cities located in different natural-climatic zones. It is shown that the overall sustainability of small mammals in urban ecosystems increases from the north to the south (from the forest-tundra to the forest-steppe zone, where the conditions for small mammals can be considered optimal. Then sustainability starts to decrease again with increasing dryness index. Overall sustainability of urban small mammals communities usually increases from Multistory area zone to woodland parks zone (mainly due to the resilience index), where it is the second only to control.
