Devices for tests for friction and wear

Classification of existing machines of friction is given. The description and area of application of demonstration tribometers and the universal machine of friction the “Universal-1А”, developed in laboratory the nanostructured coverings of SamSTU is provided. Ample opportunities of using the tribometer both for an assessment of frictional compatibility of tribomaterials, and for researching the technological modes of processing of materials are shown.
