The device of protection against breakage of phase wires in a network of 6-10 kV transmitting information on existing power lines

One of the most common types of damage to 6-10 kV networks are wire breaks of overhead power lines. But to date, none of the existing methods of protection against breakage of phase wires in the 6-10 kV network can signal to the remote controller of electric networks about the current emergency situation without additional communication lines. This article proposes a new device for protection against breakage of phase wires and discusses the principle of its operation.
