Utilitarian digital rights in modern conditions of economic transformation

The article is devoted to the actual question of the content of the concept of “utilitarian digital rights”, as well as the features of their turnover. With a focus on the scientific positions from leading scholars and jurists on the issue of digital rights positively; studied the legal definition of digital rights; reviewed with effect from 1 January 2020, the Law on crowdfunding; assesses the legal definition of “utilitarian digital rights”; attempts of isolating their generic and specific characteristics; the method of systematic interpretation of the revealed features of digital rights; the author expresses his own opinion on the emergence of a new object of civil rights - digital rights and, in particular, utilitarian digital rights; the ways of further research of the phenomenon of “utilitarian digital rights” are proposed.
