This article is devoted to clarifying the concept of «parallel thinking style», which means a specific style of algorithmic activity, whose formation is needed for mastering the course «Fundamentals of parallel programming» successfully. The basis for clarifying the concepts is the main points of psychological theory of activity and spatialtemporal models of memory.
