Refined concept of extremism in relation to the new subjects of Russia

The reasons and circumstances contributing to the spread of extremist ideology in the society of the new subjects of Russia are considered. The manifestations of modern extremism are outlined: singling out social community on the basis of language, religion, culture, place of residence, etc.; acquired forms of extremism: fascism religious, political, national, ideological; linguistic extremism; terrorism as an extreme form of extremism. Applied to the conditions of the new subjects of Russia, the signs of criminological and criminal-legal content are highlighted, which allowed to clarify the scientific definition of extremism: violence, criminal motive, subject, object. The preventive value of the developed anti-criminal strategy of the state is shown. In the light of realization of the anti-criminal strategy the connection of extremism with military aggression from the side of Ukraine is substantiated. Attention is paid to the adaptability of extremism to the suppressive impact carried out by law enforcement agencies. The criminological and criminalistic approach to the prevention of extremism in the conditions of new subjects of Russia is substantiated.
