V. P. Ostrogorsky-publicist about problems of literary education

The article analyzes V.P. Ostrogorsky's views on the problems of literary education in schools, stated in his journalistic articles. A special attention is paid to the publications of the 90-ies of the 19th century. The new material, which allows to supplement the history of formation of literary school education, is involved.
