In search of extreme: first foreigners conquering centre of Asia

Article is about the first Western travelers, who have visited Tuva in the first half of XX century. The basis of paper is book written by an Englishman D.Carruthers, devoted to their Tuvan expedition. His book became the first edition about Tuva in the West. At the same time expedition of Carruthers which was taken place in 1910, became extreme travel in which were risk, danger and uncertainty.
