Looking for «perfect education»: Europeanism and Moscow educational trips to Europe in the XVIIth century

This article examines the interaction of Moscow State students with the Western community in the students' educational trips to Europe in the XVIIth century. Particular attention is paid to the perception of Muscovites of new Western ideas, ethics and values during and after training.
