V. V. Nikolyuk-scientist, teacher, practitioner. Problems research of the information preceding initiation of a criminal case

The article is devoted to the multifaceted activity of V. V. Nikolyuk. It considers some problematic issues related to the initiation of a criminal case and the analysis of information re-ceived at the stage preceding its initiation. Discussing the conceptual problems analyzed by V. V. Nikolyuk, the author draws attention to the broad law enforcement practice aimed at protecting the legitimate interests of Russian citizens.
