Waida dye (Isatis tinctoria L.) in Altai

In the conditions of a moderately arid steppe of the Altai Territory, a study was conducted on the cultivation of waida dye (Isatis tinctoria L.). It was established that this culture develops well in the first year of vegetation, forming a root with a raw productivity of 34.61 g. The dry weight of the root is on average 17.85 g with a dry root yield of 0.86 kg /m2. In harsh conditions of the Siberian winter, Isatis tinctoria winter hardiness is 27%. In the second year of vegetation, it forms seeds with a productivity of 1059.2 g/m2.
