Validation of the heuristic approach in machine-piece locating. First part

The various decisions are collected in the paper such as a choice of a problem, extraction, structuring and formal description of knowledge in domain of interest and actions of experts. These decisions have been accepted by working out the prototype of the expert system for the selection of locating chart. The pragmatist of the outlined research consists in decreasing the risk of inadequacy of the models which are constructed by the expert and on the basis of reasons of common sense. Multi faceted methods were used: from vector algebra to the theory of lattices. The paper is divided on two rather independent parts for the satisfaction of the restrictions on the volume of the published material.
