Validation of the names and brief descriptions of three syntaxa of steppe vegetation located on cretaceous sodded slopes in Voronezh and Belgorod regions river valleys

Three syntaxa are validated with the previous names regarded as invalidly according to the International Code of Phytosociological Nomenclature. The validated syntaxa as follows: Astragalo albicaulis-Thymion cretacei , Centauretum sumensis, Hyssopetum cretacei. Brief characteristics of the syntaxa are given and diagnostic species are indicated.
