Currency regulation as a tool of foreign economic activity and ensuring economic security of Russia

The article examines the process of state currency regulation, its features. It is shownthat currency regulation and currency control is the most important instrument ofthe state monetary and financial policy in Russia. The system of currency regulationis investigated, its elements are indicated. The main directions of currency regulationare recommended. It is established that in the event of a weakening of foreignexchange control, there is a decrease in investment flows, and as a result, activity ofthe subjects of the real sector of the economy is reduced, which leads to a decrease inthe indicators of foreign economic activity.
