Input devices designed for receiving, recording, and distributing electricity are installed at consumer inputs. The vast majority of these devices are not automated. In some cases, technical means are used in introductory devices to limit consumption in case of violation of contractual conditions. As a rule, these devices disable the consumer in case of violation of the contractual terms. Projects to organize smart electricity metering at consumer inputs are also being actively implemented. At the same time, the implementation of smart grid concepts requires expanding the functionality of input devices in comparison with existing ones. In particular, it is necessary to provide the ability to control and monitor the parameters of the consumer's network operation modes, remote control of input switching devices, step-by-step restriction of consumption in excess of contractual conditions, and a number of other functionality. This will increase the visibility of rural electric networks and enable timely identification of the causes of consumer outages. Based on the information received from the input devices, the dispatcher of the power grid company will quickly decide whether to perform repairs in case of damage to the power networks, or to take measures if the quality of electricity supplied to consumers does not match. This will reduce the time of interruptions in the power supply to consumers and the time of non-compliance with the quality standards of the electricity supplied to them. The consumer, in turn, will be able to control the quality of its power supply.
