The leading centers of Japan’s foreign trade and Russian trade interests in the 1860-70's

The author analyzes the foreign trade of Japan in the 1860-70s. Special attention is paid to peculiarities of the organization of foreign trade in the main centers of foreign trade of the Empire: in the cities of Yokohama, Osaka, Nagasaki, Tokyo, etc. He also presents a retrospective picture of the Russian-Japanese trade relations during the given period, the characteristic of Japanese and Russian exports and imports, and estimated amount of foreign trade of Japan.
