Milestones of the activity of the North Caucasian regional workers' and peasants' inspection. 1920-1925

The article is devoted to the activities of the North Caucasus Regional Workers' and Peasants' Inspectorate, from the summer of 1920 to October 1925. The work of the inspectorate during the period covered by this article is divided into two parts. The first - from 1920 to April 1923, within the framework of the People's Commissariat of the RKI, as an independent body for the implementation of state control of the RSFSR. And the second - from April 1923 to October 1925, as an integral part of the dual body of party-state control of the USSR, where the first and, in fact, the main thing was the Central Control Commission of the RCP(b). The organization of a dual body of party-state control (TsKK RKP(b) - NK RKI RSFSR), was a significant stage in the evolution of the party RSDLP(b), then the RCP(b), the transition from the position of a political organization to its establishment as the ruling one in the state, according to essentially becoming a state within a state. The main goal of the study is to study the degree of effectiveness of the activities of state control bodies of the RSFSR in carrying out their functions. The article is based on the report of the North Caucasus Regional Control Commission - Workers' and Peasants' Inspectorate, for a year and a half of work, from May 26. 1924 to 01.10. 1925 The report was devoted to an all-Russian inspection of non-production urban and rural district party cells of the RCP(b) at various enterprises and in various institutions of the region. The work carried out made it possible to obtain a real picture of the state of the social, production, economic and agricultural aspects of life in the North Caucasus region.
